12/15/12 week-end scrapping thread

I'm trying to keep my mind off CT - that just make me

so I'm trying to get some happy scrapping done
working on Carrousel at this moment
posted the files in facebook group that I started (called Reddy's Ramblings)
just need to figure out how to attach a pic to the files then work on getting all of my files moved over there

so besides hugging your kids - what else is everyone doing??

Sweating sitting poolside at DD's meet in Norton, Ma today...and tomorrow doing a repeat in Durham, NH. So no scrapping on my radar this weekend. Probably no scrapping til after Christmas at this point. Hope you get lots done though! ............P

I need to play catch up in a major way!!! Lots of cleaning and laundry to do here. I also need to finish my Christmas shopping, and I haven't even started wrapping. DD2 also has basketball tournament this weekend so I have a few games to go to as well. I might scrap a little though, to just finish my MIL's NYC scrapbook book that I am giving her for Christmas from our recent trip. (I premade a lot of the pages, just didn't put photo mats down and a few other things). We leave to go out of town for holiday visit next weekend.

Every year I beg my extended family to quit exchanging gifts, but no luck. So we have a pretty big list to buy for, which almost takes the fun out of it because it is too much shopping/wrapping.

Need to figure out what to do for Little Mermaid ride - do I dig out my cart or inkscape something??

I worked on my entrance for the MK swap... need to come up with a title now that I got a sketch that worked well...


I hope to scrap PCRC (carrousel) tomorrow...

We are doing family gifts but unfortunately no ones schedules work where we can get together.. so my parents are going to meet with my sister before the holidays and then meet with us after the holidays, before PJ leaves to return to school..

Reddy, I do have the photo from last week's challenge to post still..

Oh! I went to college in Norton. Next time you're down that way let me know. I'm only about 30 minutes away. Would love to meet for coffee!

what all is at the Christkind Market?? sounds like something I would enjoy

DH is off today - thinking about going to 6flags later to see the holiday decorations that they have up - maybe that will get me in more of a holiday mood

I will post a photo of the LO of the entrance shortly... I'm struggling to come up with a title... and where to put it... I don't want to overwhelm the LO... KWIM??? Sometimes I just like to put the title in my journaling... I will figure it out....

We were at Wheaton. Is that where you went to school? DMil lives in Attleboro and DSil lives in Mansfield, so I'm down that way often enough........P

The Christkindl Market is a German Christmas Market. They hold one here in Denver from Thanksgiving until around Christmas Eve. We love to go to see all the European crafts and it reminds me of when I lived in Germany. I'll post a few pics when we get home.
