Palo WWYD?

We are scheduled for the April 4 WOnder out of Miami. So key west, Nassau and Castaway-NO SEA DAYS. I'm hoping they'll have Palo brunch, but from what I've read here, they only do it on sea days.
My 10 year anniversary is the day we leave. I'd love to have a wonderful romantic dinner with my husband sans kids, but it being the first night, I also don't want to miss the MDR experience with them. We are scheduled for late seating(at least that is what we requested). I also don't want to miss a show if it won't be repeated. I was thinking of booking for 6 and then going to the MDR and just having a drink, but won't we miss the show if we do this? Are shows repeated at all on a 4 night? What would be the best time to do Palo in your opinion?

The shows only run one night per cruise. The shows are roughly at the same time as the dinner seatings (early dinner goes to late show; late dinner goes to early show).

You options would be: 1) to do what you suggest early Palo-MDR with kids (& miss the show); 2) do Palo another night (same routine, though); 3) skip Palo and just enjoy the MDRs & shows; 4) do as you suggest and book another cruise while onboard to catch all the stuff you missed the first time.

If you have late seating, the show will start at 6 and run 45 minutes + a few more for announcements, etc. You could go to the 6:00 show and have Palo after that--like 7 or 7:30. You are right--you'll miss one of the MDRs doing this because you won't finish in Palo by your 8:15 dining time.

There is no way to do Palo without missing something...it's a matter of what you are willing to miss. You could do early Palo and then go to MDR with the kids...but you'll miss a show that way.

If you go to Palo early on pirate night you should be finished before your kids have dinner in the MDR. The Pirate party begins after 9:30 so you wouldn't miss anything.

On that sailing, Pirate Night is Day 3 (Sat, April 6). The deck party starts at 9:45.

Or have kids eat at the deck restaurant or at one of the fast service places early and take them to the club, go to Palo, and then go to the second show.
