Thank goodness! This was literally the only thing I wanted this trip and they've been sold out since at least Thursday.

It's a great album! I found a copy on eBay and paid entirely too much for it.

Nice find Mike, thanks for posting this.
There's also a new Haunted Mansion soundtrack being released the same day.

I wish they would release the Cars Land music from DCA. Has anyone seen that for digital download? I really only want the Mater's Junkyard Jamboree stuff.

If anyone is in the parks, and wants the physical copy, I saw the soundtrack back in stock on Dec 10.

They have it on itunes too. $7.99 for the album or .99 per song.

Thanks, KCMike, for this great Christmas present idea. The comments on this Disney page, http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blo...dventure-park/, also hint that more music may be released on an additional Carthay Sessions album.

As a jazz musician, I am a little disappointed, however, that the songs only average about 3 minutes in length. This is too short for sufficient improvisation, IMHO.

Nice find!

I downloaded it, but will have to grab some physical CDs when I'm there, this would make great christmas presents. To bad we are going January 4th

Okay, I've downloaded the album and listened to it, and it's legit! No elevator music here. It is very cool jazz, reminiscent of Vince Guaraldi's work with the Peanuts music. The musicians are top notch, and the arrangements are great. I love that they turned Winnie the Pooh into a waltz.

I still wish the tracks were longer with more improv, but I'm really glad KCMike posted this so I could get it.

I told my DH about this album, and he downloaded it for me today. He fixed a Disney recipe (one from the cruise ships), and we listened to this album over dinner. I love it!
