New (er) BBQ restaurant on Hilton Head
We spent the last four nights on the Island. Last night we ordered carry out from a new-to-us BBQ place just a little south of the Disney resort: Bullies. It's adjacent to a gas station in a space that I think was previously occupied by a donut shop. We really enjoyed what we ordered and would recommend it to those of you looking for that sort of a meal during your stay.
If you're heading there around the holidays, the decorations at the resort and Shelter Cove Marina are charming.

Thanks so much for the report. I'm always interested in trying new places at HHI.Last month the only "new" place we tried was the new Dunkin Donuts-twice!

Where is the new Dunkin Donuts? Also thanks for the tip about the BBQ place. We will be at HHI on Wednesday and am still trying to decide where to eat. After spending over a week at WDW, I'm ready for some more simple food that doesn't cost a fortune
 .

cool...thanks for the info....we drive down every year and make a stop at hilton head, so we will be looking for a place to eat!
