Disney Visa and lowering interest rate?

Hello!

I was just wondering if anyone has asked or tried to have Chase lower their interest rate on their Disney Visa? Any luck? We have never been late - just want to try to reduce the interest on the CC, if possible!

Thanks!

Did they reduce your rate? If so, by how much?

Thanks for your help and response!

They dropped it 3% down to 6.5% or something like that. I was happy.

I find credit cards, in general, do not do this as often as they used to. I was told by several cc companies this was due to so many people just walking away from their debit - those that actually do pay their debt lose out. They also tend to pull a credit report before they actually lower your rate to see what your credit score is and your debt ratio.

You can always call to ask though. Good luck. Let us know how you make out.

I did that a few years ago when I was going overseas. I had to pay the conversion fee so I wanted to negotiate the finance rate. It helps that I had great credit, some said yes, some said no. I closed the ones that said no.
