Add Dining Plan to DVC Reservation - The DIS Discussion Forums

New owner (closed 2 weeks ago!) and looking to book our first DVC stay.

When adding the dining plan, does this need to be done when you book or can you add anytime prior to checking in? Thanks!

You can add it anytime up to 2 days prior to arrival. You must add it for all persons ages three and older listed on the reservation for all nights and it must be paid for in full when added.

If you book multiple rooms on the same trip, you can add it one room at a time. We do that when we take our childrens families down. We usuually get three seperate rooms. I then add the dinning plan one room at a time to spread the cost out. We also get Disney gift cards at the grocery store for the gas points and pay the dining plan with them.

Also, you can add and pay for the dining plan online. I prefer this method over calling MS.
