Disney ornament help!
Our 9ft Christmas tree fell over last night. Many broken ornaments--shattered on tile floor.
Several Disney ones broke as well....my 7 year old is devastated. I broke his Disney name ornament 2 years ago and when we went back--they no longer make it. I bought him one that he liked----buzz and woody attached to Mickey Ears--yep it broke last night. Anyone have a clue who I would contact to see if they still have this at Disney?

What about the Disney Days of Christmas store? They were very helpful a couple years ago when I needed something. Just Google their phone #? Last edited by tyniknate; 12-10-2012 at 12:03 PM. |

I agree...call Disney merchandising and see if they can help. Here is a number and email I found...phone number: 1-877-560-6477 email address: merchandiseguestservices@disney.go.com
Also try looking on the Disney Store website. We have boughten a lot of the ornaments we see at WDW online and for a lot less with the sales http://www.disneystore.com/holiday/mn/1000882/

I'm so sorry that happened! We had a kitten one year that knocked our tree over and broke several of my ornaments and I collect them whenever I travel so I was heartbroken, too.
If you don't have any luck with the previous suggestions you could try ebay.

I'm pretty sure they had this when we were there in October. Make sure you try Disney merchandising first before you pay more on Amazon or ebay!
Good Luck!

I hope you are able to get it!
![]() Just today I heard *thunk* and looked over to see Jiminy Cricket had taken a dive off the tree and is now headless ![]() His cute little head rolled under the couch. I've performed surgery and am anxiously awaiting the results. We always get our ornaments as souvenirs of our trips so to lose one stings a little bit more. They are also pretty darn heavy and I have to be careful how I place them on. We had a Monsters Inc fall off and now it's just Sully with no Mike.

I feel your pain. Last year while packing up my ornaments I noticed my Walt Disney World 25th Anniversary ornament was missing. I'm one of those people that keep the boxes they come in so when I got to that box and couldn't find the ornament I panicked. I packed up all the ornaments and still couldn't find it. I searched all over the place and still no ornament. The only thing I found was the little metal piece the hook goes through. It was not a good sign. My cat that loved ornaments had passed away a few months prior and none of the other cats cared about the tree so I knew it had to be the kids. I figured they broke it and hid it where I couldn't find it or had already thrown it out in the trash so I couldn't see it. I asked questions but no one fessed up. I tried to find another on various websites but no luck. I cried, it was just gone and nothing could be done about it. We moved this summer and while packing up my DD6 room I found it tucked in the back of a drawer. I was so happy I cried. It was not broken or anything. I asked her about it and she simply said she liked it and wanted it in her room. When I asked her why she lied back when I was asking the who dunnit' questions she said she forgot she had it. Too late to punish her for the lying so I just let it go. I was very glad to have it back.
This year we have a new kitten and in fear for my ornaments I went to Walmart and bought a big tub of cheap ornaments for the tree. None of my good ones went up this year. He has done really good not messing with it except for one on the bottom so maybe next year I'll get out the good stuff again. While I realize your story won't end like mine I do hope that you are able to find one to replace yours. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

My Christmas tree fell over last year on the 23rd, right before I was leaving for work.
Glass was everywhere and many Disney ornaments were destroyed. I was very upset, but also glad that DD or the dog was not anywhere near it at the time.

I feel your pain. My DH was putting up a new light last year and accidentally dropped it on the tree. Of course the only ornament that broke was our Honeymoon ornament. I was heart broken and searched everywhere but couldn't find it and I posted on the DIS about what happened. I have to say an amazing DISer helped me out that I will forever be thankful for. I wish I had that ornament for you so I could pay it forward, but unfortunately I do not. I hope you can get it through Disney merchandising.

We had this problem a few years ago and a most precious ornament that I bought in DL in 2005 was smashed to bits (along with a few other less precious ornaments). DD was able to find it for me on ebay and surprise me with it. Keep a photo of the ornament(s) you lost and handy and continue to search ebay and Craigslist and you might be in luck some day! Sorry this happened to you....................P
