Not necessarily, when I was 30 I weighed in the 80s and I'm 5'4.
Still had periods and got pregnant.
Kate is very thin. Hopefully she is not following in Diana's footsteps.

I think many of the starving in third world countries are proof that being underweight doesn't always indicate one cannot conceive and carry a baby to term. In nursing (many years ago) we were taught if a woman was severely underweight she couldn't conceive. Obviously this isn't *always* true.

I think it has more to do with body fat percentage. Some female athletes who are training heavily and get their body fat down to single digits cease having periods. They don't necessarily have a very light body weight, but have too little body fat. Other women, who are extremely thin and have a light body weight, still have the necessary percentage of body fat to contnue to have periods (and conceive a baby).

Kate is very thin, but it is very, very unlikely she weighs under 100 lbs. Anorexic-looking models, who are as tall or taller than her, mostly weigh 115-120 at the least. I'd believe 120-125 or so, but not 95 lbs.

5'10 and 90 pounds would be very gaunt and fragile.

120-125 would be very thin, I'd say this is more realistic for lovely Kate.

I'm 5'10, and remember my long-ago skinny days... 135 would have been a normal skinny but healthy weight. 125 meant bony hipbones and collarbones, and my knees looking too big for my skinny legs. Anything less would have been sickly.

95kg = 209 lbs. We all know that's not the case. .

I'm gonna guess 120lbs, no way she's 95. My sister is 5'11" and weighs 135, and looks just a little more hippy than Kate, but similar in shape.

I think they must have made a mistake. I'm 5'6" and at my thinnest at that height I was 98 lbs and looked much thinner than her. I did not look healthy at all. People thought I was anorexic. She does look thin, but she looks healthy. I don't think she looks as skeletal as she would look if she weighed that little.

For a mature woman, that is NOT a healthy weight (if it's accurate, which I question). For a young girl, I think it might be possible. My DD is 5'6" tall (she is 13) and weighs about 95 pounds. She is just naturally thin, even though she eats like a horse. I can't imagine her being 4 inches taller, and still weighing that much.

She was looking very full in the face before she got sick. Before that, I always thought she looked a little too thin, but NEVER that thin. At 5'10", she would literally look like a death camp victim at 95lbs (not to be offensive). She would have had to have been hospitalized before now at that weight.

If she is 5'10", I would say she is probably around 140 now - probably closer to around 130's around her wedding. She would need to be at a healthy weight to support healthy ovulation. She has looked good lately. Taller women will be a little heavier but will still be just as thin looking.

No way is she that thin. Kate is skinny but I have never thought she looked unhealthy, just thin. I am 5'8" and in high school I weighed about 127 never really fluctuating. I looked thin and people would ask me why I didn't eat (was on adderall for ADD so didn't have a huge appetite). I wish I had more full body shots of myself so I could compare myself to Kate. I gained 40 pounds after going off the medication (ate a lot with my new appetite) and have lost 20 pounds so now I seem to stay at a steady 152. No one thinks that I weigh that much but I do. I'd like to be about 140 (or have thinner thighs! )

You can weigh more at a taller height and not look it. People don't seem to remember that a lot of the time when thinking about thin people.

I am 5' 7" and when my daughter was a year old, I weighed 103 lbs. That is when I was diagnosed with Lupus. I started cortisone and that was the end of being so thin. Whenever I would get off of it, I would lose back to around 120...on it balloon again!

I looked horrible when I was so thin!!! That is one of the reasons they pushed to get more tests. (I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis when I was 12.)

In person, she probably looks a lot thinner than she appears in photos.
