What extra charges await me at SeaWorld?

So, you pay to feed the dolphins? How much?

You pay to ride the paddleboats? How much?

What else (besides food) is there an extra charge to do?

Dolphins are around $7 PER PERSON - this is important to know because if you have a child and are not willing to let them stand in the dolphin feeding area by themselves then you must pay for both of you so you can accompany them.

The paddleboats I think are $5? (I've never done it, I've always just walked by it and decided it wasn't worth the money)

Other than those, there is a fee to feed the sharks out front of the shark tunnel and if you're riding Manta/Kraken/Journey then you need to put your belongings in a locker - for $0.50 per opening of the locker. You can use the same locker for Kraken and Journey because they're really close.

If you're going during the holiday season then you should know that the little village section they've got for christmas has some activities for kids that you pay for. Oh, and you have to pay for the Santa photo at the North Pole obviously.

From someone who has "been there, done that" with the paddleboats.......I would say skip it entirely. We found them difficult to navigate. IMHO, there are better ways to spend your time and money at SW.

I'm not 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure that if you are planning on feeding multiple different animals, there's a deal where you get three or four different feedings for a cheaper price than you would get if you paid individually. It would be worth asking at one of the feeding stations. I am sure I have read other visitors posting about it here on the Disboards.

If you plan to use the lockers at rides such as Manta or Kraken - it is 50 cents per use - there are change machines available at the lockers but good to have change or small bills. You are not allowed to carry bags or loose items onto rides so you must leave them with someone or get a locker.

A good piece of info that I got from another Dis'er on here is that you have to use cash to pay for the food to feed the dolphins and other animals so make sure you have enough cash on hand for these experiences.

Yes, you can buy a deal where you can feed the sharks, sting rays and seals/sealions. You purchase it any of the three feeding areas and you get two coupons for the other animal feed and the food for the animal where you purchased the food. I can't remember how much it was but it is cheaper then if you purchase them all separately.

You have to buy the dolphin feeding experience separately and it is $7.This line gets long so the earlier you line up the better as there is a limit to how many people can do each feeding session.
