Spa Pricing

I saw on the DCL site that a Spa manicure is $25 and a Spa pedicure is $45. I thought they would be a lot more than that. What has been your experience with these treatments? Thought it would be fun for the three women in our family to have treatments together on a sea day.

Hmm, not sure where you're seeing that, but those prices are WAY off. On the Dream or Fantasy, it's $50 for a manicure, $70 for a pedicure.

Yea it was more like $70 for a pedicure. I remember paying over $100 (with gel nails and a tip).

Could those be the prices for the Chill Spa? If so, that is just for teens. As PPs have said, the prices are quite a bit higher for adults.

When I was on Magic last July a manicure was more than $25. I originally booked a manicure and changed my mind and decided to get my hair washed and styled for formal night. At that point in the cruise I hadn't figured out that you have to plug your blow dryer in over by the TV/wave phones. The outlets in the bathroom are for shavers only. I NEEDED my hair done. The hair was suppose to cost $35. and I remembered thinking it was less money than the manicure. But then the stylist put some kind of oil treatment in my hair which ended up costing more $$ than I expected. So in the end the hair was more than the manicure.

I emailed concierge shoreside and they said the is for the salon services menu and those prices can be different from the spa services.

The link to spa services is http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/sh...pa-treatments/

I wonder how you book the salon services vs the spa services.

Yeah, this is a good example of how things can go in the spa. The "menu" lists the rock bottom price. If they ask you if you want anything, ask about cost--may times it is extra! Ditto on the manicure--they will want to upsell you on special polish, etc. It doesn't tend to be this way with the massages, etc (although they will try to sell you products at the end!) Hint on that--list "no sales pitch" on your spa form and if they do one anyhow...consider reducing the tip appropriately as they didn't follow your wishes!

I booked my salon service at the spa desk while on board. I was booking the princess package for my daughter and I booked the wash and style for myself at the same time.

I looked in my Navigators and found some pricing for Vista Spa. But it was mostly for massage, acupuncture, facials and tropical rain forest. Nothing about manis or pedis. If you need any of this info let me know.
