Couple of Quick Questions - Jogging

I have never had a desire to jog/run. However....I have recently been doing a Fit Camp and we did a fitness test where we did a mile. During my test I did it in 14:42 and I decided I wanted to get it under 10:00 - I'm now consistently hitting around 12:30....so I still have a ways to go. I have also found I might actually like it - LOL! So my questions:

1.) I need some good music with BPM that equate to approximately a 10:00 minute mile - preferably Disney music.

2.) I just use my earbuds that I got with my Galaxy S4 - but they "rattle" - not sure if it's because they are not snug in my ears (I have sweated them out before)....or if it's the cord?? Suggestions on stopping this ANNOYING phenomenon? Or recommendations for some good, inexpensive, earbuds for jogging?

I have the same problem with most earbuds not wanting to stay snug and found them distracting on my runs. For the last few years I have been using earbuds that have a hook that goes over your ear and I love them! No more distractions fighting your earbuds!

One of my favorite Disney tracks to run to, if you can find it somewhere, is the Pre-Illuminations music. It's upbeat and brings the Disney feelings!

Good luck in your running adventures!

Hey Neighbor! Is there a particular kind with the little over the ear hooks that you have found you like best? The "rattling" is very annoying and distracting....I have the Illuminations CD....do you happen to know if it's on there?

The ones I use are Phillips Flexible Earhook Headphones, they are only around $10 and I've been using them for a couple of years and they have held up really well.

I'm not sure if the Pre-Illuminations music is on that cd or not. I can't remember where I tracked it down. Here is one of the tracks on it......

I am on my second set of these. My first set still works but they only play out 1 side and I lost one of the little cones that go in your ear. Other than that these are awesome.

I have the Focus style in black. Have run several half marathons in them and they have not come out. I live in Oregon so rain is normal and have yet to have an issue with water.

Not necessarily Disney songs, but this website gives music suggestions based on your min/mile pace
http://jog.fm/workout-songs/for/10:00/minute-miles

And congratulations on your 2 min pace improvement!
