Help! I am booked in category 4A deck 10 and worried now!

Almost every post I am reading about deck 10 complains of noise early in the morning due to breakfast, then later in the day from chairs moving around, etc. Should I move down to deck 9? I want the time we are in our room to be peaceful. Our last cruise on the maiden voyage was on deck 7... so I didn't really have to worry about it. Thank you for your help!

(This is on the Fantasy...)

No don't be worried at all. We were on deck 10 on the fantasy and all we heard were the amazing waves crashing against the ship. I wish I was back here

I was on Deck 10 on the Dream and now only sail on Deck 9. I found there to be quite a bit of noise from setting up the pool area in the morning.

I agree with Miss Poppins above. Deck 10 is not horrible at all but you do get some movement noises in the morning when deck chairs are being put out, etc. If noise is at all a concern for your family I'd move down to Deck 9. Honestly I don't really mind the noise that much since it wakes me up early enough to go up and get one of those chairs they are putting out! I can't speak to noise at "bed time" since we tend to turn in kind of late.

I remember when I went on Norwegian Cruise line our cabin was right below the disco and the music was pumpin' until 5am the next morning. I didn't sleep a wink. Thank goodness it was a "cruise to nowhere" and only a weekend long.

I've sailed deck 10 on the Fantasy and didn't have an issue with noise, my only "problem" (not that it really was one, just not used to it having sailed on lower decks in the past) was the overhang of the deck above and not being able to look up at the sky. Weird I know, but I would rather be down further and be able to look up.

I didn't even think about the overhang! Hmm... How early exactly are those chairs a moving?? I have to think that deck 9 shouldn't be that different from 10. Why is it a different category? I'm thinking I should try and switch to 9... Next question... Which side of the ship? I can't remember what side we were on before... Except that at Castaway Cay, we were on the deck side.

We were on deck 10 on the Dream right below Cabana's. Never heard a thing.
