Universal gift cards - The DIS Discussion Forums

I've gotten Disney gift cards plenty and know where they can be used. What about universal ones? I'm thinking you can't use them to pay for the hotel since is it Lowes correct? What about all of the restaurants including ones in CityWalk. I know we paln to eat either at Mythos or Confiscos, but also Bubba Gump, usually Margaritaville and a few others. what about Blue Man Group tickets? I usually use cash but was thinking about using my Target card to get 5% off like I can on Disney. That is better than nothing. I just don't want to end up with tons of useless cards and no cash left to pay my hotel and food.

the UO gift cards can be used at the 3 onsite hotels, in the parks, blue man tickets, anywhere in the UO resort, etc.

i used them in october and bought $300 more of them to use on my next trip.

Awesome info. I would never have though you could use them to pay for the hotels. Will definetely be buying some at target if I can find them since we are going and paying for it anyway. 5% is better than nothing. Thank you so much.

the new UO gift cards came out this year.

don't think i have ever seen them sold at Target though.
