Fantasmic Pre-Show Music

Just got back from WDW. Greatest trip ever!

Does anyone know where I can find a list of the pre-show music that is played about 30 minutes before the Fantasmic show at MGM? (Preferably the music and artist.)

I just can't stop singing some of the those songs to my self. They were all great versions of classic tunes.

Welcome to the Dis I know there is a Fantasmic cd but it doesn't have pre-show music. I don't think I ever heard any pre-show music. Was it Disney songs, or something else?

Fantasmic pre-show music

Thanks for the welcomes. Some of the music was Disney (eg: Zip a Dee Doo Dah), plus other types of music (eg: Disney variation of classic surf music). All of it was comtemporary and up tempo.

Unfortunately, its not on the Fantasmic album itself.

Thanks again for the howdy!

Try checking some of the Disney Mania CDs that they sell to the "pop" age group. Lots of great Disney classics sung by young musicians, most of whom have some Disney connection (Hilary Duff, Raven, Jump 5). I thought I recalled hearing some of this familiar stuff (my DD 8 1/2 loves this stuff) while at the World in January..................P

WDW 12/1974, WDW 03/1983, WDW 05/1992 (with DH on HONEYMOON ), WDW 01/2002 (first family trip to WDW), WDW 01/2004 (2nd family trip), DL and DCA 07/2005 (first family trip to DL!), WDW 06/2007... DD gets to go without us! WDW & Discovery Cove 04/2008 (First stay at Pop ), WDW 01/10 DD goes without us AGAIN! , WDW 05/10 Mother/Son trip WDW 05/11 Mother/Daughter trip !! WDW 05/13 Mother/Daughter trip #2 celebrating GRADUATION!

I know exactly the music you're talking about. I've been looking for this for years! I haven't had any luck at all. I've had a few friends look into this for me and they've come up empty, too. My favorite is the disco version of Under the Sea! If you have any luck, please let me know! I want this music!

I'm not sure what they are playing now, but they have played music from the Disneymania CDs in the past. These are pop versions of Disney songs. There is also a country CD from a few years ago.

Welcome to the DIS, Mike. No help here on the music quest though.
