Deck 10 on Fantasy - Is the noise from deck 11 bad?

We were in room 10046 and noise from moving chairs, etc. Was a issue every morning starting at 5:30am! I am a light sleeper and woke up every morning & couldn't get back to sleep. Taking pictures from our veranda was another problem....I would go up to deck 11 instead. The week before we stayed in room 8618 & we had no issues at all & we just loved the room! I wouldn't stay on deck 10 again if I didn't have to, but we were guarantee & that is the room we were assigned!

This worries me as we are in 10544 in March - our 5A was assigned GTY and was so hoping for deck 9! BF and I are not morning people at all.

We were in that same room on the Fantasy in June. I agree...the good outweighed the bad. I loved being 1 flight of stairs away from everything on deck 11 and being at the end of the hall there was minimal foot traffic. And honestly on the 3 port days and the last morning we had to be up early anyway so it didn't bother me at all.
We booked a 5a in 2014 and we are currently on deck 9 right near the midship elevators. I think that will be worse so I'm going to see if I can get that changed and wouldn't hesitate going back up to 10 aft.

We also had 10580 on the Dream. Since we normally get up early and are awake late, we found that the room location benefits far outweighed the noise we could hear from above. We booked the same room location on the opposite side, 10080, for the Fantasy this summer.

We were in 10098 on the fantasy and it was super noisy from about 5:30am til midnight every day. Kinda sucked. I did like the convenience of being close to the pool deck but I would have rather been on deck 9. We did the GTY though so we didnt chose it and the price was awesome so I can't complain too much.
