Where have you eaten breakfast, when staying at airport Hyatt? - The DIS Discussion Forums

We've stayed here before, but chose a standard McDonald's bfast and Starbucks for coffee back at the room. Not that there's anything wrong with that, love my Starbucks!

just wondering, where have you grabbed your breakfast, and did you bring it back to your room before going to check in for your cruise?

They have an EXCELLENT breakfast buffet at the Hyatt.

Yes, that's where we usually eat when we book AAA that includes breakfast. Last September, we tried Chikfila in the airport, absolutely horrible. I couldn't even drink the coffee.

We actually just went to the Mcdonalds in the food court since we knew we were going to have a bigger lunch after boarding. They have pretty good oatmeal, egg mcfunnins and coffee...and its cheap

We always do the buffet at the hotel. it really is good, price is only $15.95. Most recently last week. Went down to breakfast at 7:30 AM. Went down to DCL Cruise Check in at 8:20 AM. Was second in line, got first bus, and boarding group 2.

We ate breakfast at McDonald's as well. I'm sure the Hyatt's buffet is pretty good, but I think it would have cost us something like $70 for 2 adults & 2 children IIRC.

We had the Breakfast Buffet at the Hyatt ..... delicious!!! Our package gave us 2 for free, so we just paid for the kids. It was like a "By One Get One Free" deal. Everyone started off the day well fed.

When staying at the Hyatt...we opt for oatmeal at Starbucks (love their Oatmeal

). We bring it back to the room and enjoy the runway view. I am always in too much of a hurry to get to the port so I like to just grab something quick.

Now, when we stay at the Marriott Residence Inn by the port before the cruise we obviously take part in the complimentary hot buffet breakfast at the hotel.

This. I love love love Starbucks oatmeal. Hubby & I grabbed breakfast with our coffee, walked down to the seating area in front of the DCL desk, and had a light breakfast picnic. Worked out well for us. We didn't want to eat heavy because we knew there'd be plenty of eating once onboard the ship.

I hope we stay at the Hyatt, as well. So it's easy to leave the hotel part and walk through the terminal, and back to the room?

Also, we're going to arrange private transportation to the port (there are 5 of us), where should we tell them to pick us up? Does the Hyatt have it's own outside entrance, or should we meet the car at the baggage claim/ground transport doors?

A slightly different twist....check in at Welcome Center at 8:15, then breakfast at food court, then back to welcome center for 9:20 bus.

We have eaten at the buffet once. It was around $15 as people have said and pretty good. The past 3 or 4 cruises we have swung by Chik Fil A and ate after our checkin while waiting for the bus. We like being on the first bus to PC so we're down in the checkin area pretty early. We also live in a place where McDonalds is pretty much the only game in town (Taco Bell, and BK as well) so we get very excited to have variety once again. Chik Fil A AND a Krispy Kreme! Heaven! (sorry, spend a few years up here and you'll understand).
