Does anyone know how far in advance you can select an early check in for your cruise?

That option is not availbable until your booking window opens.

You don't want to check in to early cause the rooms won't be ready til 1;30 and there isn't much to do on the ship til than.I think the earliest check in is 11;30

That was one of the questions I was going to post! I have a 7-day in May aboard the Fantasy. I appreciate the input...as previous times I have cruised they do other things first thing upon arrival.

Thanks! We checked in at 11:30 before for our 11:30 cruise and it was great. We were able to have lunch on the cruise ship and enjoy much of the day. The previous time the disney transportation had us there much later. We felt we got more of our cruise this way!

You can book a "Port Arrival Time" starting at:
First time cruiser: 75 days
Silver Castaway Club: 90 days
Gold Castaway Club: 105 days
Platinum Castaway Club & Concierge Guests: 120 days

When you arrive at the port you will check in and be issues a boarding number. Your boarding number is tied to your port arrival time. If you have a 1:00 port arrival time and get to the port at 11:00 you will be issued a higher boarding number then someone who arrives after you and has an earlier port arrival time.

But once they start boarding it goes very fast. They usually start boarding about 11:30 and the lines are gone by 12:15-12:30. If you arrive after that you should be able to walk right on.

Don't worry about your cabin not being ready. Bring a small carry on bag with bathing suites. All the restaurants are open at 12:00. You can eat at one of the two buffets or grab some fast food by the pools, take a swim before the pools get crowded, explore the ship.
