I liked having one for my KTTW card.

Any one have a picture of the silver lanyard they give to Silver CC members? Does it say DCL on it?!

I like the lanyard cases (that hold the KTTW cards and other cards) but not the thick castaway member lanyard. It tends to get all wrapped up and twisted with us, and is a little wide for my neck's comfort. I just take the case off and put it on a thinner rope-lanyard that I wear.

On the new ships it helps to have a spare card (like an empty gift card) to put in the card-activated light switch when you enter the stateroom... lights won't come on without one and it's a pain taking your kttw card out each time, especially while trying to hold the heavy door open, finagle your "stuff" and manage the kids!
You can use them at WDW too, to hold your Photopass card and your kttw card there. |

![]() I wore one not just because of the convenience but also for my pins. Got to have the pins. I have to say having the small DCL wallet on lanyard was extremely helpful. So much so that it is moved from lanyard to lanyard when I do any Disney. Keeps the right amount of "stuff" handy. Jim |

That set is a gift shop item. I remember the lanyards for CC members and I think it was just the lanyard with a clear pouch.
I will find out in Feb though Cruise #2.Jim |

I love my Coach wristlet (a Christmas present from hubby for a cruise). It fits my camera, like you said lipgloss, folded up Navigator. I started hooking it up to my lanyard. Loved having everything available so quickly. I lost my camera in the Walt Disney theatre on our first cruise, fell out of my pocket. Thankfully, someone turned it in.

haven't read the whole thread but i vote against using one. i found it a pain to get in and out and you do need to take it in and out. it also isn't big enough to fit much else. i hate it hanging around my neck. i am going to quit taking the ones they give us cause i just threw 6 out. couldn't give them away to my friends or family. no one wanted them.
back to original question. is it only the card and a few bills you want to store? if you want to put anything else in, say chapstick or gum, theres no room. |
