Middle of June or Middle of July or end of July?

We cannot decide when to go! There will be 5 families. We are looking to go when there's the best chance of some kind of discount.

But we want the crowds/weather to be manageable too.

We were thinking second week in June or sometime in July.

Any suggestions?

We went June 5-12 this year. I would say on a scale of 1-10 the crowd was a 6 or 7 most days. Crowded but doable. We would arrive early to the parks and we had our ADRs scheduled in February. The June weather is hot, humid and out of the 8 days we were in Florida it stormed at least once on 7 of the days. July is the hottest and most crowded for Disney. June is the rainiest. We had a fabulous time on our trip. We made good use of fast pass and had an idea going in of what were the most important rides or shows we wanted to do. Planning out the trip really made it successful for us.

Not sure about how the availability of discounts will be for June or July since that is summer season and both months will have a high level of crowds; but if I had to pick one I would pick mid June hands down because not everyone is out of school yet. July is probably the overall most crowded month in the summer, plus that is the month when the large tour groups visit WDW. Looking at the crowd calendars from the easyWDW website, it looks like crowd levels for mid June are projected to be in the 7-8 range while July is pretty much 9-10 (the highest levels) for the entire month.

We like to go end of July for 2 reasons: 1) we have to work around USA Swimming seasons because I have 2 children that swim and 2) we stay at the Poly and it goes to Value season usually the 3rd week of July. Yes it's busy but if you plan appropriately it's not a hassle. I always use Ridemax and UG and never have any problems with waits more than 10-15 minutes.

The current discount that is available for Disney visa holders runs through June 14. I read that it is supposed to be available to the general public starting January 3. Last year we booked in February for June 5-12 and got a discount.
