It's a guessing game. Rumor has it S/P/D will be the new public FD.

I believe it's the current promotion, Stay Play and Dine.

Yeah after doing the search feature I figured it out. That would suck since it really isn't a "promotion" since your paying rack rate anyways.
Hopefully something else better comes up.

The difference between the two is that with SPD adults pay child prices for dining and tickets instead of dining being entirely free. It's better than full price dining, but definitely not as good. |

I was hoping to find a free dining plan for 2013 for a girls trip. Any updates?

So, FD would save me another $500 because I did the SPD deal with the regular DP at POR, paid child prices for 5 people, and then upgrade to the DXDP. If I got FD the only thing I'd have to pay would be the upgrade costs. Most people staying at Deluxe resorts saved more with the room discount they offered as well though. Most of the time SPD was better for value and mod. |

FD has not been offered for January/February months when it has been traditionally every year, and with it being only a few days away it probably won't be at all. I think it's look more and more like FD for the GP will be a thing of the past. |

Nothing in the horizon by now it´s too early you must wait at least until April, and nobody knows if FD will return this year for August September so it will be very dificult to get an extention to december.

Kids are not free. All party members (adults and children 3 - 9) pay child prices for the dining plan and the tickets. Get your room price, add up the ticket costs using child prices for the type of tickets you want, and add up the child DP costs with the DP that is attached to your resort tier (value = QSDP, mod = DDP, deluxe = DDP) and that will give you the rough amount before taxes. If you upgrade your dining plan you'll pay the regular upgrade price (the difference between the adult QSDP to the adult DDP). HTH! |
