Early Breakfast ADR at Akershus
We have a 8:05 breakfast ADR at Akershus on a day Epcot doesn't open until 9:00. We were instructed to be at Epcot no later than 7:50 because of the long walk to the World Showcase. I understand we will give the CMs our name and ADR number and they will walk us to Norway.
We are staying at the Poly. Are the monorail and/or buses running early enough or should we call a cab? Do we arrange for the cab the night before or go down to the lobby early enough for the front desk to call one for us? |

I agree, if you are going to take a cab, then take it to BC and then use the International Gateway instead (the walk is great that early in the morning from there). On our last trip we had an 8:05am ADR for Akershus and the monorail was not going at the time we got to the TTC (we were coming from the Poly), unfortunately the walkway that takes you from the resort monorail to the Epcot monorail was closed (the Epcot monorail was not running yet). We told the CM that we had an early breakfast, he then called to another CM that was on the Epcot side of the platform and they were able to take our family of 4 to Epcot on an empty monorail. So if you do decide to go the monorail route and it is not running yet, just let the CM know and they will do their best to get you there before your ADR time. Have a great trip.

we have done this and they dont walk you to the restauant... they just let you into the park.
there are many cm s inside if ur unsure of where you are going but you will not get an escort. i would also say allow more than 15mins to walk, as you ll want to stop and take pictures in an empty park... its a good walk.. we loved it, belle was amazing and my son who was then 13 was the only boy in the restaurant and got spoilt, he was a real babe magnet!!! |
