I gave 2012 an F. Just a lousy year for my husband and I. Nothing serious, but just one little stupid thing after the other. We'll be glad to say good-bye!

We're hoping 2013 brings us better health and hopefully by next Christmas, a little baby. Just being pregnant will be good enough!

2010 was a great year. We got married!

1986 will always be the best year of my life.

I graduated High School, went to England, fell in love for the first time, and started college, all within a three-month time period.

I also grew tremendously as a person that year and I am ever so grateful that my grandfather sent me to England. It changed me for the better.

I gave this year a B. It can't top 1986, obviously, but it was very close to 2011, in which I went to Belize and swam with a shark in open waters.

I only gave the year a D cause we bought the house, we are all in decent health and DH is still employed. It gets a F rating because we havehad many colds and flu during the year, I had a miscarriage, my Grandma has been in and out of the hospitl this year and they think it probably colon cancer, DH's dad died 2 weeks ago and his step mom did not tell us, and we have just had so much stress finacially it is getting old. Praying next year is better.

How does a person justify not telling a son that his father had passed away?

I hope those having miserable years have much better ones next year.

She had his sister tell us because she is still mad at us for a fight we had 2 years ago. They moved out of state and we could not afford to visit. Also DH and his dad have never had the best relationship, so it is all DH's fault. DFIL had dementia these last few years, so it was all DH's step mom. He never got to meet his second grandson.

F- 2012 has been the worst overall year of my life. There have been other stinker years as well (like the year my Dad died), but 2012 takes the cake.
Best year...ahhh...who knows. There have been good ones, ok ones and bad ones....this year was really god awful, but my 3 kids are healthy and I am healthy and my mom is healthy...so that's a good thing.

I'm going to give this year, despite some HUGE stressful things that took over the entire time period from May through October, an A. Here's why:

1. I AM ALIVE AND HEALTHY and so is DH and my family.
2. We managed to take a trip to WDW this year. Possibly our best trip ever.
3. I got a part-time job, which should help with future bouts of aformentioned stress.

As I said, there were some really tricky things going on, and at the time I was going through them I would have totally given this year a solid F. However, upon reflection (and just a wee bit o' therapy and a LOT of heart to heart with God) I realize it wasn't the end of the world even when it felt like it was.

I'm a pessimist, but I don't think I could ever vote F... no matter what happens to you, things could ALWAYS be worse.

I would give this year an A.

Family is happy and healthy.
Final year of college.
Got to do some amazing travelling and missions work.
I have learned a LOT and am happily anticipating what 2013 will bring.

I gave 2012 a "D". For me "D" means below average--it's not anything terrible. I'd guess next year will be a C or B.

So true! But if you go on percents,100% being the very best, well I'd give 2012 about a 58% which is still an epic fail but, yes, it could be worse. And 58% has been the worst I've had. I'd say around 86% is the best I've had. And most years are about 70-79%.

An A! Had our long awaited child this year (after 5 years of trying), that alone would have made it an "A" year. But I also started back to college this year (something I've been meaning to do for a while). And while my grandmother's death in '11 was sad (but not unexpected, she was 93 and in failing health for a while), the unexpected inheritance I received from her put us on in a much better financial position. I also got a very good bonus, and DH is starting to make real progress on our never-ending home remodeling project.

I'd give it a B. Last week our daughter was diagnosed with diabetes. It could have been worse. On the bright side, our sons are employed. My husband is having a fantastic year at work. My parents and my mother-in-law are healthy.

I am not a pessimist at all. However this year gets a solid F.

Several people close to me died, including my dad. It has been a very tough year watching my dad suffer.

I am hoping 2013 is much happier and our wounds can heal.
