All Star Sports Resort
I'm going to make this short and simple:
We love this resort. After staying the last 3 times at Saratoga Resort, this scored even higher with us! Much (MUCH MUCH MUCH) easier to get around this resort and enjoy it's amenities. Pizza delivery- ROCKS! Food- DELICIOUS! Bigger then life sports things, FUN! Room size- PERFECT! (There was even a fridge) Room was clean! (Cleaner then one of our stays at Saratoga) Bus wait time- SHORT! (We even had our own bus separate from the movies and music resorts which is not what I've read about on here) The cheerleaders and football players that were there for their yearly event- no problems at all. (Respectful, quiet after quiet hours, clean) And for anyone staying while we were there, this was us: ![]() I wish I could use our DVC points here |

Shhhhhh. You are not supposed to tell how great Sports is!!! Then everyone else will want to stay there too!!!
![]() I'm glad you had a great time. The Sports resort gets very little love for some strange reason.Love your window display too. Very pretty! |

one reason is all the kids playing at WWoS will stay there - and a little time spend with a bunch of yelling, screaming kids will made you fast to change to another resort.
only stayed at Sports twice - one time was great - the other time we were the middle of a tournament. It was fine during the day when the kids were playing - but at night - loud! ![]() SSR is definitely to spread out for my taste too. love BLT, VWL, BCV - those are easy to get around and best yet - both BLT and BCV are walking distance to MK (BLT) and Epcot (BCV) the buses - early in the morning and sometimes evening - you don't share buses. but doing the down times (mid-morning to early afternoon) - they probably will share. People have to eat and there are just not enough guests that will return to their resorts at this time.

We loved our stay at Sports this past summer. I am a little worried that DD6 and DS3 will be disappointed with BLT when we go in June!

Glad your stay worked out so well for you. Unfortunately not all guests are lucky enough to experience quiet/well behaved youth groups (and chaperones). It only takes one bad experience to turn someone away from a resort forever. We stayed there one year while a particular competition was underway.
It was a nightmare, and the desk clerks admitted as much after we (unsuccessfully) tried to change to another resort on day 3. Of course I know that not all groups are as badly behaved. But I'm not prepared to risk my vacation $$$ on probabilities.

believe me even with that you need to decide what side of the resort you want.
odd number are in the curve - so unless you are lucky - you can be looking at the lake to the side - but looking straight across you are looking into someone else room even number rooms - north side is where the MK is located. even number rooms - south side is where the CR - now this can be a good site too - because of the ELP and it the distance you can Epcot.

Great to hear some positive comments about Sports!
![]() I stay there all of the time and don't let the groups "bother" me,but many Guests just don't like that kind of "atmosphere" which I can understand. ![]() I do "think" I remember seeing your window-were you in Home Run Hotel? ![]() Glad you had a good experience with Pop Warner. ![]() I haven't seen a lot of problems with Pop Warner the last few years-certainly nothing like the infamous fight at Music several years ago. ![]() The 10:00 PM curfew they enforce has really helped. ![]()

I'm very much looking forward to a week at All Star Sports in early January!
In fact, my last visits to Sports were during Pop Warner in 2007 ... and something major went down during that trip and THREE teams were sent home early, and in Sept of 2008 for the closing of Pleasure Island.. During the 2007 trip, I didn't experience any issues with the P/W kids per se, during the trip, but I was at the parks when it all went down. For those of you who were just there.. did they have the RFID locks on the rooms yet? I wonder what else has changed??

We have been lucky not to have too issues with groups. The one time it was the coach that was the issue with his whistle and handheld loud speaker at 6am in the middle of the football field in front of all the rooms. So it is not always the teens that have no respect for others.
