I asked for (and got) white fudge covered Oreos one year

One year for my birthday, I asked for (and also got) stir fry ingredients, specifically those little miniature ears of corn

i have 4 sons.

when the youngest was 4 y/o, he would tell us from the time he got up until the time he went to bed that he wanted the number 8 from santa.

#8 ??????

besides his real presents, we wrapped up 8 different number 8's for him.

quite a few were house numbers in different styles/sizes bought at the hardware store, a few others were from Sesame St books, a few stencils of 8, made a few number 8's by wrapping yarn around 2 connecting circles off the gallon milk lid........

When I was in kindergarten I asked for the Nintendo game Paperboy, except I made a mistake and on my list I wrote 'Playboy'. I am sure my parents loved that one.

Lol! I had that game and loved it. Was addicted to it. I would like to point out it was Paperboy and not playboy ... :-)

So, of course, the next year, DS asked for a stuffed aardvark and younger DS asked for a stuffed anteater!
Maybe little by little their trying to create their own little stuffed animal zoo.

My youngest at the time was 7. He REALLY want a tux. I didn't understand so I asked him why and he said "to look fancy for funerals and cruises"! Funerals and cruises-the only places a kid needs to look fancy. We all howled!

From age 2 through 6 my son asked for bacon from Santa. The last two years he's asked for fake blood. Thank goodness we had a local costume shop, as the first year he asked it was a few days before Christmas.
