Drugs in Fantasyland

Yesterday, we wandered over to the entrance to the new fantasyland to see what kind of previews were going on. Sadly, only DVC were allowed in, so we turned back. And then, just to the right on a bench, we saw a woman who was both smoking and snorting some kind of drug through a drinking straw that was cut to about 1" long. should we have reported her? anyone ever seen anything like this before?

Not unless she was smoking in a non smoking area or being disruptive. I don't think you can report someone for being a dumb-***.

it would not be pleasant to smoke something through a 1" long drinking straw. there would be burnt plastic all over the place, not to mention the horrible fumes.

I suppose you could report her for smoking in a non-smoking area, but any drug she may or may not have been snorting is already gone up her nose, so I wouldn't bother with that.

In my opinion, unless she's blowing smoke in my face, this comes under "none of my business". For all you know, she could have been snorting something perfectly legal or even prescription (it's not illegal to snort, just to snort illegal drugs).

It was just pixie dust. Nothing to see here. These aren't the drugs you're looking for.

Idk I think that if your were pretty positive it was drugs I would have alerted a CM, I mean its ILLEGAL and they dont need that around families!

To say it was all up her nose and there was no proof itsnt necissarilly true, who is to say she didnt have more on her person? WDW security would be able to search her for probable cause or in the very least detain her for the police to do it.

After living with family memeber with drug problems I know first hand the sparatic behavior of someone ON drugs, you never know when they have a melt down.

Maybe WDW wouldnt do anything about it b/c of the legalities and thats fine too but atleast you did what you could do by alerting some one, who knows maybe the scare would convince this person get help! IMHO

Im not a goody two shoes but when I hear of this happening in the Happiest Place on Earth I think WHAT??

First off, I would have taken a picture of the person in question, in action if possible. Then I would have shown it to the first CM I could find.

It would be rather unusual to see someone sitting on a bench at WDW in broad daylight snorting cocaine (if indeed it is being assumed that's what this person was doing.) No I have never seen anyone doing this before. No I am not sure I would have reported her.

I vote for 'None of my business'.

If I want to bang my head up against a brick wall to make myself feel better, it is no one else's concern.
