Special parks ideas

What is the one thing at each park you must do, have, etc. It could be a parade, character mng, ride, special event, etc. I want to make sure I am not missing something. We will be going on our 3rd trip and I find myself planning the same things. Our family consist of me (38), DH (37), DS (11) and DS (7).

My favorite thing of the whole week was on our last night we walked around MK DURING the fireworks. My daughter and hubby rode the teacups one last time as I stood by watching and listening to the magic of music and fireworks. It was such a magical way to end an amazing first trip. I really cried!!

Also our favorite place of the whole week was Tusker House in Animal Kingdom. The food was different and unique. It is a reservation place but we changed to there at the last minute the week we were there and it was very good and not as crowded as other places.

On our last trip we rode Dumbo while the fireworks where on. They went off right over our heads it was so need. There was no line so they let it go the whole time. There was just 4 of us on it. Me, my daughter, my sister, and nephew. We are now going to do it ever time.

We always have one night where we have dinner at The Rose & Crown and then try to sit outside for fireworks or simply walk out and watch, then come back and have desert. We like having the later dinner, so when we walk to the monorail or whatever, the park has emptied quite a bit and it's nice to enjoy the atmosphere.

Haven't ever tried Rose and Crown, I will consider that.
