I had friends that stayed at the mco Hyatt and checked in at the airport on Nov 10th

I thought maybe the poster was saying she was concierge and they wouldn't let her check in. But we've done the Hyatt and DCL transfer before and it does work like everyone is saying. We're doing it all over again in March :-)

Just so you are aware, staying at the Hyatt and checking in at MCO are two different issues. You are free to stay at the Hyatt and use a different form of transportation. What is required in order to check in at the MCO Welcome Center is that you are using DCL transportation--regardless of where you stayed the night before or if you flew in the day of the cruise. Of course the Hyatt has the nice luggage service.
