Rose and Crown Pub for drinks - Reservation required?

I'll be dining in Epcot this coming April with my wife for our anniversary. I was considering heading over to Rose and Crown Pub for drinks after our dinner at Le Cellier, but don't know if there is just a bar area that we could walk in to and get drinks or if we would need some kind of ADR for the pub.

I wouldn't mind just grabbing a drink and carrying it around outside if that would be allowed from there.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

We've wandered in there for drinks a few times and I know we didn't have reservations. It was pretty crowded because it was pouring outside, but we found a place to stay and have a few pints.

There is a beer cart outside next to the Rose and Crown. We usually grab one and then go sit on the benches across the walk way at the small out door theater.
Last time we shared our bench with a very nice lady and her small baby in the stroller. It is always nice to chat with someone new

and not a bad place to watch Illuminations either!

Thanks for the quick responses! Does the cart outside have the full menu? I'm looking at something other than beer for myself (scotch whiskey). My wife, on the other hand, may just look at a glass of Wine or something mixed. :D

The Rose and Crown pub does not need reservations and does serve drinks. It can be very crowded though. I'm not sure if you can take things to go but I would guess they do

No reservations for the pub. There isn't much seating either.

the cart outside only serves beer.

You can take drinks to go, if they're in a plastic cup, you're not allowed to walk around the Showcase with actual glass. Can't say I've ever heard of anyone walking around with Scotch, but if you're good with drinking it out of plastic...

Hope this helps . . .

Our Ratings of Rose & Crown Pub: (3/18/2012)
. . . food price value: B
. . . food quality: B
. . . food quantity per serving: B
. . . food prep speed: B
. . . food selection: C
. . . seating quantity: C
. . . seating comfort: C
. . . eatery atmosphere: B
. . . eatery convenience: B
. . . staff friendliness: A
. . . staff attentiveness: C
. . . character interaction: n/a

NOTE: The bar/lounge/pub area is classic Engish with a great
selection of beer and spirits. Additionally, the piano player is
excellent. Overall a good location for drinking and snacking,
but only so-so for meals, as the bar has its own menu and
you can't order from the restraurant. And, the pub does not
have desserts on the menu. There are four sit-down tables
and three stand tables, all are first-come-first-served, no
ADR's. But, you can always order and go outside to eat.
The Hat Lady performs daily at 5:20, 6:20, 7:20 & 8:20pm

Definitely a great place to stop in for a drink! Like others said, the cart outside doesn't have a full menu, but you do not need reservations for the pub

Not sure if we would walk around world showcase with the Scotch, but if it's crowded inside, I wouldn't be entirely opposed to stepping outside (it would probably be close to time for illuminations) to enjoy my drink outside in a plastic cup. :D

This is a fun place to grab a drink. Sometimes it is very busy but the servers are great so you usually don't have to wait long. Tutto Gusto has a full bar too. You can get a to-go cup at any bar in the parks and walk around with it. Have a great time!
