Santa locations

We are leaving tomorrow for a trip and would like the kids to meet and ask Santa for here Xmas wish lists. Where is Santa located at magic kingdom, downtown disney, Epcot, or resorts? What are the hours? Will the kids be able to tell him what they want? Thanks again

EPCOT has each countries represented "Santa Clause" and is wonderful to see how other countries celebrate. I think the best experience is in EPCOT at the American Adventure where you can meet Santa and Mrs. Clauss. It is not rushed like the mall Santas. I am pretty sure there is also a Santa at the begining of Main Street at MK.

Per this site:
SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN

At the Marketplace, you'll find Santa Claus waiting to greet you at his chalet in front of the World of Disney store. You can take your own pictures or use PhotoPass:

November 16, 2012 - December 24, 2012 (Santa Claus)

December 25, 2012 - December 27, 2012 (Santa Goofy)

Sounds like great fun.

I also love the Epcot World Showcase Santas

I do not know the hours, but if I find them, I will add them as well.

hours

For Santa DTD,
Friday-Saturday: noon-10 p.m.; Sunday-Thursday: 5-10 p.m.
also found
5:30-7:15 and 7:45-9:30.

But on another note: How do you explain why DTD Santa and Epcot Santa are different?

in Epcot they are storytellers--- not the "real" santa.

in Disney-- there is only one santa clause-- and that is in Studios and Its Goofy dressed as Santa

I know of three locations:

One at DTD near World of Disney
One at Epcot near American Adventure (with Mrs. Claus)
One at MK near the Town Hall

I am not exactly sure why you would take your kids to see Santa 3 different times to begin with, but most kids that are young enough to care won't notice the difference. As our DD got older, we explained that not all Santa's are the "real" Santa, as he can't be everywhere at once AND supervise the elves and such. So Santa has "helpers" that cover places he cannot be. So, the one at our local mall - "Helper". But, the Downtown Disney one - the real deal!

I agree. The plan would not be to take the kids to see Santa 3 times, but if Santa is in full view at each location, they will see them (we plan to go to Epcot, DTD and of course Magic Kingdom).
