Do you have to be using ME for a chance of being selected or just staying onsite

For these tests of the FP+ system, it has been limited to those using ME. I expected when the system is fully functional, FP+ will be a perk offered to on site guests to encourage people to stay on site.

But at this point there's no reason to assume that will be the case. Everything is speculation.

Are all 3 party members registered on DME? If yes, I would call now and tell them they missed one.

If not, it's a little iffier. I saw some people in the last test that were able to get party members added to the test, but no guarantees. The ones I saw that did it, did it when they got to DME (there were FP people there). You could also try at MK (City Hall) or DHS Guest Services.

As long as you are registered on Disney's Magical Express, you are eligible. If you have not gotten an email or mailing yet, if you are missing a card, if you don't get your cards before you leave or any other issues, they will help you at Disney's Magical Express when you arrive. But you have to be registered on DME. Don't stress out too much about it if you haven't gotten an email and you know that you are coming during the time of the testing.

You can determine whether or not you're in the test by entering your reservation number (as printed on your DME tags) into the FP website. You don't have to wait for the cards. There is an FAQ on the site that explains how to pick up the cards in the World.

Thanks so much! Our whole trip is a bit confusing, so I hope we can figure this out.

Kind of disappointed in the whole thing right now. The test only includes the first 3 days of my trip, so 2 1/2 days really when you take into consideration we fly in at 1 pm. And the rest of the family flies in the next day, so they only have 1 1/2 days to take advantage of the test. We are on the dining plan, so I have our park days set. We won't be able to do the test at MK at all, unless I try and change things around. Which means moving my ADRs around too. Boo.

We'll be there on all of those days. But you'll still get to take advantage more than we will.

Besides, all anyone gets to take advantage on this test is 2 days.

My friend who did get the invitation also had to swap a couple park days. She was really shocked when she found a Tusker House available on the day she needed to move it.

Lots of ADRs moving around these days. Give it a try.

Received a pair of these in the mail yesterday. We arrive the 10th but won't go to a park that evenining and leave the 18th. I need to look and see IF they can be used for that Sat or Sun the 15th & 16th when it will be more crowded or IF I need to try and use them by Fri & Sat the 14th & 15th.

Just me and college aged daughter celebrating her first semester away at college. Leaving Dad and Son home as he is still in high school and they don't finish up until the 23rd.
