You must be a government employee (state or federal) or military.
Can you be retired? Thanks!

We took that one but needed an extra day then but she didnt have it. So she is still looking for an extra day. We have our last night booked somewhere else just in case she doesnt get another day for us or we may even just head home early.

She had tons of other timeshares listed in Wisconsin and had great feedback so I felt confident she was on the up and up.

Vacation Strategy would have been fine if we planned our vacation 6 mos out but not for last minuted planned trip.

We also got our place last year at Sheraton Vistana off Craigslist and that worked out great as well. That one was a bit nerve racking since they dont give the confirmation until right before you get there. But it all worked out just fine.
Thanks. I got a quote too from someone on ebay. Would you mind giving me the name of the person you dealt with if you are allowed?

Didn't think about VRBO or Homeaway. They rent WBC on there? Thanks!

Vacation Strategy was the cheapest I've found. Ten nights for a one bedroom was $896.00.

Vacation Upgrades was $100.00 for the first seven nights, then $130.00 for the last three nights, with an agreement for him to try to get the last three nights reduced at the 60 day mark. If he could, then the last three nights would also be $100.00, (so it would possibly be $1,000.00 for the ten nights, but could be $1,090.00).

I also got a quote from the same lady that kalc12345 uses, but for some reason she gave me a really high quote: $1848.00 (or $1553.00, if paid in full at time of booking). She let someone else have a 2 bedroom for five nights for $400.00 though, so I would have thought a 1 bedroom for ten nights would have been alot cheaper than what she quoted me. Maybe it has to do with inventory or time of the year though.
I e-mailed Vacation Strategy last night but have not yet heard from them.
I e-mailed about 10 people on ebay and had one respond to me.

Thanks all for any/all help!

Don't know off hand. That might be answered in the FAQ for the site.

The eBay ID is "time-4-vacation"

It doesnt look like she has anything right now listed for WBC but she may if you email her.

I just found my cheapest rate by far ($33/night cheaper than lowest anywhere else) $126 per night for February dates (some dates include Pres. week) on a 2 bedroom deluxe from: http://5starresortvacations.com.

They had good feedback from purchasers on Ebay. I'm hoping it all works out!!

BTW: they ask for 1/2 down via Paypal at booking (or you can call with credit card info.)and the balance at 31 days out. You can cancel up to 31 days prior to stay with just a $45 penalty.

5 Star is who I went with to book our upcoming May trip. We got 7 nights for $595 for a 2 bedroom deluxe. Presidential rate was $895 I believe.

Their price beat every other quote I had gotten.

We booked through Vacation Strategy for our last trip. ( I actually found them through VRBO. )It was a flawless transaction and we paid $1195 for 7 nights in a 3 bedroom the week of Memorial day.

We just booked 7 nights for March with 5 Star Resort Vacations (prime season) and their quote was $59 less per night than the other 5-6 renters that I contacted.

The good thing about this resort is that there are soo many sellers,

Email them all, and get the best price

I contacted about 10-20 resellers in 1 day, I then took the best quote.

Its amazing how much the prices can vary

Like they say SHOP AROUND

I'm here now and got a last minute steal like 2 weeks ago for $25 a night! So $125 total for a 1 bedroom. I'm in love.
