Congratulations to both of you, that's wonderful news!

My DD must be due around the same time as you, she just had her 20 week scan and she is also having a girl. Her due date is the 7th May.

Yes very close!!! We had our 20w scan on Friday which was a lovely start to Christmas as I was quite anxious about it. Our lady is due on May 10th.

Is your daughter excited for tomorrow? We have sooooo many presents to open as our families have gone a little OTT (Jacks sisters have 4 boys between them and I'm an only child) as they're so excited to have a girl to buy for.

I didn't know someone who isn't born yet could have so many presents!!

Yes, she's really excited, but she's had to be admitted to the hospital 4 times for Hyperemesis and she was only discharged from her last admission on Fri night, so she's just trying to just stay well at the moment. DH and I are soooo excited as it's our 1st Grandchild! so as you can imagine I've had to stop myself from buying too much!

Have you thought of any names yet?

Urgh, poor her.

I had it pretty bad until 16 weeks but luckily not hyperemesis bad. I hope it clears for her soon as I found it so hard to enjoy anything and be excited when I was unable to even read or leave the house.

Yes we've got her name all picked. Not told many people yet though. :

I remember thinking the same thing, and again on Megan's first Christmas. Me and DH are both only children and there hadn't been any babies in either family for about 8 years so you can imagine the excitement. This year Charlie's now almost 11 weeks so its the same again. Best part of Christmas

Have a lovely Christmas
