Biergarten or Rose & Crown?

I can start making ADRs in a couple of weeks, and I'm trying to decide between these two, probably for dinner. Any comments, pro or con, for either of them?

I love the band at Biergarten! The pretzel bread and cauliflower soup...yum! My kids love to dance there, on the dance floor. It is an amazing show.

Completely different places. English pub grub vs German pub grub

We liked the Biergarten...huge buffet with lots of options, oompah music (we're from Wisconsin, so know all the drinking songs), fun atmosphere. You will sit with people you don't know, however. We found that fun but others might not.

These are my two current Epcot favorites. I would have to give a slight edge to Biergarten because the atmosphere is so fun in there.

Biergarten is sooo unique, you should really experience it at least once to see if you like it (some people don't enjoy sitting with others, we are on the fence about it, it really depends on who you get seated with, you know?) Having said all of that, I think Biergarten is a MUCH better value at lunch than dinner.
Rose and Crown is really neat for dinner if you can get a late table out on the patio, the view of Illuminations can not be beat from there, BUT there is no guarantee of getting that table and the food is just ok, not a WOW. If you are seated inside you can still go on the patio for viewing but it is just not the same..

Biergarten is a not miss for us every trip. We were dissappointed the last time we went to Rose and Crown...

I vote for Biergarten!

Damn, that is like having to choose between your two favorite children!

I'd give the nod to Biergarten simply due to atmosphere, but as mentioned, a late patio R&C rezzie with the fireworks is outstanding! Either way you should leave with a smile on your face and pain in the gut :P

Never done Biergarten but I didn't think Rose & Crown was anything to write home about. Not a great stop unless you plan to watch Illuminations from there.

Haven't been to Rose and Crown, but we really enjoyed our dinner at the Biergarten last year. The entertainment was a lot of fun and we all enjoyed the food. I was hesitant about going there because I'm not a big fan of German food, but I found plenty that I liked.

The only con I would have to mention that others have already is that you are seated with other people. Some would consider that a plus, but I was a bit uncomfortable with the idea. Luckily the folks we sat with were very nice.

I vote for Beigarten!

We just love the place. It's so much FUN! It is our first meal there! It has never worked out for the Rose and Crown yet. But we're going to try it next trip!

Another vote for the Biergarten! We don't go to Disney without at least one trip to the Biergarten. Great pretzel rolls and beet salad. mmmm!

Another vote for Biergarten!

We ate at both for our last trip on the same day, with lunch at Rose & Crown and dinner at Biergarten. I definitely preferred Biergarten. We had a great waiter at Rose & Crown but the food was not memorable. Before the trip, I had low expectations for Biergarten (don't like the idea of eating with strangers) and high expectations for Rose & Crown, but ended up liking Biergarten more.

Wow - everyone favors Biergarten.

I've been leaning towards R&C because I'm a huge anglophile, and because I'm enough of an introvert that sitting with strangers weirds me out a bit.

I can book my ADRs on December 11, so I'll have to decide soon. Maybe we'll just do both.

One question - I know Yorkshire County Fish Shop is a cs location. What about the pub side of R&C? And are kids allowed in the pub side?
