A yummy but cheap restaurant outside parks?

Hi all! We will be in WDW Dec 10-15th. We are on the dining plan but will have run out of credits by the 15th at breakfast. We still plan on doing a park on the last day. Before we leave, I'd like to reserve somewhere for our last meal. It is a party of 4 adults. I am not sure what park we will be in so I would prefer somewhere that I do not need park admission to. Also somewhere that is not pricey so I am thinking a buffet is out. Is there anywhere really good for under $20 a person?

Thanks so much!!

Outside park dining

AOA resort gets high marks for their food court and so does Pop Centry.
Downtown Disney is always an option. WGP Express or Earl of Sandwhich.

I seriously doubt there are many Disney sit-down restaurants you can get out of for under $20 a person, unless you only order a less expensive entree and drink just water. You can't get out of some of the counter services for that if you get drinks and multiple courses.

You could try Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club resort (it's basically a soda shop/hamburger joint). They don't take reservations though, and the wait to get in can be long.

My other thought was the Boardwalk area - specifically ESPN Club and Big River Grill. Big River at dinner might make that price point only if you don't order beef or shrimp.

I'm not sure I'm reading the OP right, are you looking for breakfast? That would narrow it down a bit, you could probably try the Captain's Grille or Kouzzina or Kona or Grand Floridian Cafe (if you stay away from the steak or lobster).

I am looking for lunch or dinner, preferably a table service but open to counter too. Thanks for the ESPN suggestion, i will be looking into that. Any more suggestions welcome and thank you!

I would definitely try Beaches and Cream, like TDCNala said.

Big River Grille at the Boardwalk have a few entrees that are less than $20. So does Olivia's at OKW and Raglan Road.

We also are a party of 4. We go to Earl of Sandwich the bill is about $25. Everyone is very pleased with this choice.

We like Capts Grille at YC. Big River too. DTD Paradiso is good and has some cheaper entrees. RFC or Trex can be cheaper if you share. We usually share apps for dinner. The nachos at both are great! Kona or Grand Floridian Cafe if you are on the monorail.

I vote for Paridiso in DTD. Sit outside and enjoy the view before you leave. Fish taco's, burgers, Nachos and loads of appetizers that will work for a meal.

Sanaa

I recommend Sanaa. There are sandwich options for lunch and you could split an appetizer or the fabulous bread service. The location is a treat in itself.

I would love to try Sanaa but we are already going to Boma. Although he wont admit it, my husband is very picky and doesn't like ethnic food or anything with different flavors. He pretty much loves southern comfort and italian type dishes. Im afraid it will be overload for him. Is their food Americanized at all?

You can see the menu here.

I thought the beef short ribs were excellent, I don't remember that meal being too ethnic. The tandoori chicken was tasty and not too exotic. The bread service was fun to mix different breads with a variety of sauces.

The cheeseburger was strange! . It was on naan bread and different than a normal burger.

Desserts are awesome.

The prices with the atmosphere combine for one of the best values for me. But I usually stay at Kidani, so it makes it more convenient for me.

Olivia's Cafe at Old Key West Resort
The Grand Floridian Cafe
Kona Cafe at Poly
Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney
Earl of Sandwich at DTD (this is probably the cheapest)
Beaches & Cream

Earl of Sandwich! I've had both their breakfast sandwiches and regular sandwiches and always delicious! Best value (and sandwich) on Disney property!
