The Daily Grind ~ 11/26/12
 It's back to reality!!! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving break!! We did.. Stayed home and did a lot of family things together since both kids were home from college.. It was nice to catch up with them and hear about the shanigans that go on at college... Won't be too much longer and it will be finals week and home for break.. DsS22 is only coming home from the 23-26 because he has come to the decision making money at work is a smart idea since he pays his cost of living bills! PJ will be home in less than 3 weeks!  She will work when she gets home she hopes!Let's see whats on the agenda for today: make bed make lunches x 2 reboot laundry once over house (pretty much done; just needed to do a quick pick up) chat w/ DD rattle boys up fold load of laundry last load in dryer now remind boys to make beds check DIS/FB/email boys off to school check status for gifts ordered online this weekend everything has shipped!make last of the Christmas shopping list (hope to go out on Thursday???) clean up scrapbook room ordered letters for the girls shirts.. now anxiously awaiting them to email me the pdf file so i can print them on the transfer paper and make them... I want to make them to wrap and send on Wednesday.. fingers crossed!!!! (they said 24-48 hours)... work on Christmas gifts hope to complete 6 scrapbook pages pay bills fold last load of laundry pick up boys homework/snack dinner check schedule and prep tomorrow's list take DS16 out to drive a practice route for his drive test (we made it up; don't know the actual route) Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need!! I hope everyone has a great day!! Cheryl, hope DH is doing well today!! I hope you are able to check in after surgery to let us know how he is doing..

I hate the paying bills on your list - oh well, got to be done but still isn't as much fun as spending it on craft supplies
We meet in-laws at the San Antonio Zoo yesterday - that was fun today work  boys to school horseback riding then no idea - DH is home so no idea on what he wants to do tonight We did get a carpet cleaner so most likely work on carpets (which has helped out alot but still needs alot of work)

I hate paying bills too... but it gets me that much closer to our next vacation!!!

Good Morning all!
Nan - so glad to hear you had an awesome Thanksgiving break with your family! We had a great time with our friends up in Vero Beach - the weather was perfect! Sadly, Thanksgiving was very hard for my three GA siblings who have celebrated turkey day together for the last 15-17 years with Mom and Dad (us other three out-of-state kids and our families make it when we can!). Not only was Mom gone but Dad decided to spend Thanksgiving with his sister in NC, which he hadn't done since they were kids. My sis said it was rough but it was good for Dad to get away. Seems he does much better when he is away from home, sigh! Today tidy up the house change out bath towels laundry vacuum roll up the loose change sitting in a bowl on my desk - it's full! clip coupons make Turkey dinner (since Joe got off work last minute, we were able to head to Vero on Turkey Day vs. Friday) do some cyber Monday shopping email TA about doing the pre-cruise ABD trip prior to summer's med cruise determine what luggage we need to keep, what to donate (we have too much for two people!) take down fall decor start a little Christmas decorating! Cheryl - sending P&PD for hubby's surgery! Happy Monday to all! Becky

Oh Becky, I bet it was hard on your siblings and especially your Dad.. At least he got away and didn't decided to just stay at home and not get together with the kids.. I'm sure he was going through a lot of emotions..
Please send some warm weather... we are at a whopping 32.. not that it's that bad..but I prefer the warmer weather!

She is 15 today! I cant decide between  and  , she is my baby and it is tough to admit she is growing up!once over house make reservations for dinner tonight for us, tradition is godparents join us so it will be 9 of us including Josh's girlfriend. make a few phone calls to straighten out a few messes. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a safe and fun Thanksgiving weekend.
Everyone in my house got to sleep in this morning but me. I had to work today so I left a very long list of chores at home for everyone else to complete. Here's my today's to-dos: Work Check status of online orders. I hope they have shipped. Look around online for the last of the games the boys are wanting and then my shopping is done! Stop at grocery for tortoise food. I'm really starting to like this little guy. Only 3 more days and his family will be back from Disney. DS wants us to get one, but I'm just not sure. They live for like 60 years.....he will outlive me. Who wants me to will them a tortoise?  DS to job interview - keep your fingers crossed. He really needs some part time work! Dinner Finish decorating outside & put boxes away Get down & go through rest of Christmas decorations. We are getting our tree this week and I can't wait! All my Disney ornaments back in my family room.....next best thing to being there!  Boys to bed early. They have been staying up way too late during this holiday break. Have a great day, everyone!

 Happy Birthday to Princess Julia My day will focus on DH at the hospital and prayers for them getting him in to surgery today. Rachel has auditions for the spring musical today, dance auditions on Wedneday, and call backs on Friday. Hope everyone has a great day

Update--no surgery today
 Now they're trying to decide if they'll keep him at the hospital to manage his pain or send him home. Hopefully we'll know something by late this afternoon.

I'm at work. Dropped my girl off at school at 6:15 to start her trek to Nature's Classroom. We both cried a little.
 (She started crying around 5:30, when DH left for work, that just set us all off and we cried off and on until I dropped her off - I'm sure she was fine once she got with her friends).So...today will be focused on getting through it without too many tears. (I know she's going to have a blast, I know we both 'need' this, and I know she's fine, I'll just miss her a lot). Dinner is leftovers. Hoping DH can get out of work early (on time?) tomorrow so we can go to the movies. Cheryl, gentle hugs to DH. I hope they can manage his pain. Hope everyone has a great day!

It is monday here! DD#1 and #2 are up and out DD#3 and DS are ready to go just got off the phone with paper company. They need a way better system. Still waiting on status of package, things backordered? coming in? etc? Waiting on invoice to find out what really did ship out. If its not available for purchase/shipping don't put it on your website to order. Makes it difficult to know what is really available.  Take DD#3 to school Volunteer pick DS up home lunch finish packing for trip, get laundry going DD#1 home DD#2 from bus Dance PO walmart home
