For August Travelers - What kind of Poncho?
Do you recommend a good brand? We didn't pack any last year and just used the Disney ones, but those got hot after a while.

We prefer the dollar store version of rain poncho. They feel lighter in the August heat and humidity. We always bring extras in case they rip, but they usually last for our trip duration and then we throw out the used ones when our trip is over.

After experiencing a rainy trip this past August, I'd like to get lightweight zip up windbreaker style rain jackets rather than use the ponchos. We had the cheap ones and the hood never stayed on. Finally got a Disney umbrella and ponchos for the kids and those were better. I saw a few people with jackets and that seemed more comfortable.
