Is it possible to use 2 tickets to go to 2 different parks in the same day?

I just realized that it is cheaper for my family to purchase a 7 day base ticket rather than add the park hopper option to our 5 day base ticket. We only want to hop twice. Would it be possible to purchase a 7 day base ticket if we are only staying 5 days? And could we use 2 of the 7 day tickets in one day to go to a different park?

With a base MYW ticket (non-hopper), it is not possible to visit more than one park per day. A day on a base ticket is just that - a day, not an entry. See the ticket sticky at the top of this board for all the ins and outs of Disney tickets, including a detailed explanation of why this will not work.

No its not.Disney knows that that is cheaper and therefore not allowed. If you want to go to 2 parks in one day you need a park hopper

No, that won't work. The turnstiles will not let you through.

No, you cannot do that.

If you have a base ticket, you can only go to ONE park each day. You don't have 7 park entries, you have seven days. You can only go to ONE park on each day. You CANNOT use two days on the one day.

If you want to go to two different parks on the same day, you have to add the hopping.

It sucks, but that is how it is.

If it were possible to do that, then no one would buy the park hopper, since it's cheaper to add days.

Now, if you have two different tickets per person, then yes. But buying 2 sets of tickets is more expensive than adding the hopper option.

Nope. Try pricing 5 day park hoppers vs. 7 day MYW tickets. If my numbers are correct, it would only be an additional $37 per ticket for the 5 day with hopper. May be a better deal if you planned on not using the last two days any way. Sounded like you only needed 5 days, but had 7.

Thanks. I figured it had to be too good to be true.
