Cape May breakfast or dinner?

I can't decide when to go. I've never been here and want to try it. I love seafood but DH isn't a fan but I don't see much about what other food is on the dinner buffet. The breakfast seems the same as Chef Mickeys so I can't decide. HELP!!!!

Love it for dinner! Of course, DD and I love seafood. DH not such a big fan, but they have a selection of other meats, sides, salads and desserts to keep him happy. This is a must do dinner spot for us!

We have had both dinner and breakfast and like them both. However we like the breakfast more, it is a must do for us. The only way I would compare Cape May Breakfast to CM Breakfast is the fact they both have Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. As for the food, Cape May is so much better then CM and the service is much better too. Another thing at Cape May it is much quieter that you can actually have a conversation with your family, compared to CM being so loud. Don't get me wrong CM is fine, but Cape May is much better.

Dinner unless you want characters. Breakfast is good. But IMO dinner is better and no pesky characters. Lol... Really tho I do not eat any fish or seafood and always leave CMC stuffed. Haven't been since the rehab but I still think a nonseafood eater will be ok.

We've done both the breakfast and the dinner. The breakfast is very good. Dinner is really good, too. My husband doesn't care for seafood either, except for shrimp, but there are other meat choices that are good.

You can't go wrong with either one.

Thanks to all! I think it's a tie so I can't go wrong with either. Now I guess whatever time is available for a ressie will decide which I go for! Thanks again!

My review....

We went to Cape May for breakfast. Donald is my favorite so after getting my picture taken with him, it really didn't matter how the food was! But it was very good. Now to compare it to Chef Mickeys. The atmosphere is calmer than Chef Mickeys because you don't have as many characters (only Minnie, Donald & Goofy) and it's actually a little smaller so you don't have as many guests. The decor is very nice and you get the whole beachy feel. As far as the food goes, I think you get a bigger and better selection of food at Chef Mickeys. So it all depends on what suits your needs. If you're an older couple like us, the less hectic setting at Cape May for breakfast might be more to your liking. If you want the excitment that comes along with seeing more of the old Disney characters, more room and more food, then you might want to go to Chef Mickeys. Bottom line, if food is your priority go to Chef Mickeys. If ambiance is more important, go to Cape May.
