Quick Service meal option vs Table Service meal option

Have always upgraded to the Table service dining option with our dining plan in the past, but this most recent trip we found the reservations very constricting and it seemed as if the food at table service restaurants was being wasted as we were never really hungry
What QS options in the parks do you feel are just as good(if not better sometimes) as TS....

Magic Kingdom - Columbia Harbor House (They have a wonderful salmon, broccoli, and cous-cous dish for only $10.99)

Animal Kingdom - Flame Tree BBQ (They have something for everyone including an amazingly refreshing fruit plate)

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons has a tremendous variety, is air conditioned, and has phenomenal strawberry shotcake...In the UK at World Showcase the Fish and Chips is to die for...and the Katsura Grill in Japan as chicken and beef dished with rice and veggies for around 10 dollars which is a great deal!

Hollywood Studios - In my opinion, there really isn't any QS worthy of comparing to TS but if I had to go with one, it would be Starring Rolls Cafe. The sandwiches are huge and let's face it, no trip to the world is complete without one of their signature pastries or cupcakes.

Hope this helps!

I totally agree! We always felt like it was a lot of work to try to make reservations and use all of the table service meals on our plan. My daughter and I just returned from a 4 night trip and we used the quick service meal plan for the first time. We did make one table service reservation and just paid out of pocket for that meal. Then we just used our extra quick service meal for breakfast. I have to say, I really liked having the quick service plan instead of the regular plan. It was SO much easier! We will definitely always get the quick service plan from now on and just add one or two table service meals to it.

BOG for sure! There's no way that feels like a QS meal. Yes, you have to get your own silverware and drinks. But it's real silverware and plates and the food is brought out to you on a rolling cart. And the food was quite good, too. Can't beat the atmosphere.

Favorites I've actually tried:

BOG lunch at MK! As a PP said, "real" dishes and utensils and they bring your food to your table. I thought the braised pork was very good and more like a TS dish than QS. I'm also another fan of Columbia Harbor House.

Tangierine Cafe in Morocco at Epcot - love the lamb shwarma platter, which is like a "full meal" with a nice variety on the plate.

I haven't been to Flame Tree at AK but plan to go this year, and I've always heard good things about Sunshine Seasons at Epcot (which seems to be one of the best QS for variety).
