anyone else have fond memories of the true life adventure beaver valley?
i remember when i was in elementary school each year we'd see this film in the auditorium. i loved it, it featured frogs croaking & otters playing, all to music.. so nostalgic. i found it on the walt disney treasures dvd volume #1.

i also found another vintage oldie on vol #4 ~ perri,
the squirrel.. poor perri had such a stressful life! lol

I do.

And the crickets chirpin' . . . but not to any old piece of music . . . but to one of the greatest pieces of operatic music ever written . . the "Sextet" from Donizetti's "Lucia de Lammermoor."

And apparently a favorite of the 3 Stooges as well, as it shows up in several of their short subject.
