Jersey Week ?

How bad are crowds really during Jersey Week?? It's only one state that has this break, does it really make that much of a difference in the crowd levels? If you compare the week to say the end of May/Beginning of June how does it compare?

We did it four years ago and it was great. Didn't even know it was Jersey week and we border NJ. The weather was perfect, too!

We did it last year and sun-wed was good, once Thursday hit the crowds did too for the rest of the week. Columbus Day/fall break in icy seemed more enjoyable.

We were there Oct 29 - Nov 5 this year and you could definately tell by the weekend that the crowds were growing. It wasn't terrible.....there were just longer times for rides.

I never found it unbarable crowd wise. The thing I don't like about it is airfare is high out of the northeast, because of so many people going at that time and there are often discount blackouts. Two big negatives for me.

We did Jersey Week last year and it was easy. The food and wine fest was too crowded. BTW I think they cancelled Jersey vacation because of the storm. I could be wrong.
