We are on the Fantasy 01/05/12 and have young children. We are doing a couple of beach excursions plus cc. Is there any where to buy/hire or borrow these.

I know for sure they sell them on CC at She Sells Sea Shells. I can't remember if they sell them on board. However, on the Western Caribbean itinerary, CC is your last stop so you may not have the ability to purchase them for any other beach excursions you may have at your other ports...

I don't know how young your children are, but DD likes to use them in the Mickey Pool and Splash area. I usually go to Target and buy a set for $1. That way if it gets lost (other kids at the pool like to play with them too) or we don't feel like bringing it back home it's not a big deal. PP was right that they sell them at CC. On board I only remember them selling the Captain Mickey bath toys set. They may have sold the $6 Nemo bucket (the other set is $15) but I am not sure.

what about going to the cruise meet for the sailing just before yours. if you can find a family who has some they will not be bringing home, and i know this happens, they may be able to leave them at customer service for you to pick up.
it might work, just a thought.
