Great Trip!

We stayed in Coronado Springs from Dec 7th thru Dec. 12th, 2013

Our room # 3387 was a corner room with two windows, one with a view of the quiet pool and the other a view of the lake (a tree obstructed some of this view, but we didnt care).
Casitas 3 building

Our room was a close walk to the fitness center.
We would walk to el centro bus stop in the morning to leave for the parks and then get off at bus stop 2 at the end of the day.

Never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a bus to come.

We drove a few days, found this faster and more convenient.

The cheerleading convention or whatever its called was there, but they were all well behaved and it was quiet.

Fridge worked great to keep our food and water bottles cold.
Housekeeping did a great job also!

Loved hanging out at the bar on the lake sipping a cocktail and enjoying the great view of the lake, in the evening.

Would I stay here again, You betcha!

I think it changes between what stops they have to make and the driver. CSR the first stop when we rode but that might not always be the case.
I think we really lucked out, as we were the first stop on the way from the airport, and the last ones picked up on the way back to the airport.

Requests?

What is the best way to put in requests for this resort? Fax or phone?

Got back on Thursday from our first stay at Coronado Springs, and we were VERY happy with the resort. We stayed from December 4 - 12.

Started off with a lovely upgrade from a Standard Room to a 2 room Junior Suite, which was wonderful, even though there were only two of us. Each room had a full bathroom, which was great when we were getting ready each morning. We were able to check in early, we got there around noon.

I had faxed a request for Casitas 4 a couple of days before we checked in, and we ended up in Casitas 1, fourth floor, which was blissfully quiet the entire time, even when the cheerleaders checked in later in the week. It took us a couple of days to find our way around, the resort is HUGE, but we were only a few minutes walk from El Centro.

We rented a car, and only used the bus service twice, once for Downtown Disney because parking was such a nightmare there, and the other time for Magic Kingdom. Both times the wait for the bus was short.

Sadly, we never used the pool, we were too tired when we got back from the parks to go over and use it. The hot tub looked wonderful!

We ate at Pepper Market almost every morning for breakfast, and we really liked it. We ate lunch and dinner there once as well, and thought the food was good then too. We can't understand why so many people say they don't like it. Where we didn't eat was Maya Grill, because I don't do Mexican and that's pretty much their entire menu.

Overall, we were really impressed, and I'd stay here again in a second. All the staff was really accommodating, housekeeping was wonderful, and everyone was friendly.

If you're celebrating a special occasion, definitely let them know, we were celebrating my 50th birthday, and that may be why we got the upgrade, I don't know.

Talked to my Grainger rep at work today and he confirmed that their convention is not at Coronado at all. Their activities are at the Orlando Convention Center and they stay in hotels near there. Yay!! So after booking a few different resorts, we are back to staying at CSR.

Just booked at CSR over the weekend for early February - we were hoping to try POR but CSR was the only Moderate left with availability for the winter discount. We stayed there 1x back in 2000 so looking forward to checking it out again!
