Best place to put clothing labels if missing child
I am making some labels (not tattoo style) for my DD in case she gets separated from us. Where is the best place to put them? She just turned 2 if that means anything.
I also heard it suggested to not put their names on the labels, just our cell phone number. Open to hearing your thoughts. THANKS.

They will not look in her clothing, so no need to label. We did dog tags for our kids, with our cellphone numbers on them.

We also did a dog tag but attached it to her shoe laces. Thank God we never needed it but definite peace of mind.

Thanks for the tip! I found a site that does little ones for shoe laces. What did you write on them? Just a "please call and phone #" ?

We actually got the little pink heart from petsmart or petco and just had our cell number on it. We told DD if she was lost or did not see us to go to a castmember ( we had shown her one at our resort) and point out the tag on her shoe.

Sweet. I ended up just writing, "If I'm lost, please call xxxxxxxxxx"
Thanks for the tag rec. This will be much easier than placing stickers on clothes, and better, especially if no one even looks at clothes!

We also made "dog tags" at the DIY machine at a Walmart.
They simply say, "dad's cell" with number and "mom's cell" with number. I liked this option because we could also hook it onto their swimsuits for water parks and the pool. |
