We weren't planning on going to WDW at all in 2013 as we have already booked HHI. We are seriously considering buying the passes for a trip in October 2013. We will probably have to pay cash for that trip since we already used our points. That is going to be a shock! We had already planned to go sometime in 2014 so the PAP do really make financial sense. I will probably try to sneak in a long weekend trip somewhere in there much to my DH's dismay.

Disney's business team is pretty smart. They just got two more trips out of me!

was only going once in 2013 - now at least 3 times and one time in the summer (I hate summers) to be able to use the water parks late.

It hasn't changed anything. We still only benefit from the non expiring passes. We like relaxing and enjoying the resort while vacationing.

The only thing it has changed for us is that instead of the regular AP, we will be getting a PAP this time.

We were only planning a family vacation in 2 treehouse villas in February. I was looking at buying only a 3 day non-parkhopper to save money but the Premium Annual Pass isn't that much more and my son will turn 3 later in the summer, so I am now planning a early-mid summer trip to use my AP again and to get my son in for "free" one last time. It will be my first time with an AP, so I am excited (plus getting to go again in the summer). Of course, the 2 villas are taking up all our points so we'll have to find other accomodations and another set of airfare, so in the end, its costing us a lot more - ahh the logic of a Disney fan.

I'm really considering picking up a couple of vouchers if I can manage it without having to charge them. We aren't going until next December, but I would be able to activate them before it was too late. If I have at least half the family covered, I could probably swing spring break 2014. Cash is tight with DD in college now, but this might make a spring trip possible since I'll have points to use

Talking Changed our plans!

We were only doing water parks before Disney cruise in June. Now we are also doing F&W and camping from Christmas to NY at the Fort. Plus I'm sure another trip in 2014 before the pass expires.

This PAP deal is evil! It's costing me thousands of $$$!
You see since we are going to get it to use for our Easter 2013 trip, we HAVE to go again next Christmas to see all the pretty lights. And to make the money worth, we HAVE to go again March 2014 before their expired.
And since we are going there March 2014.... I just booked us another DCL cruise....

Since we're planning on a big family and friends trip in Novermber, I was planning on just taking our oldest daughter with me to the first DisDad's convention in January. However, the discounted AP's pushed me over the edge and I'm surprising my wife and both daughters with a two week trip leaving Dec 29. It should be fun to see their reactions on the evening of the 28th (we have a redeye flight) when I tell them to pack their bags

It hasn't ... but it might be nice to have a similar offer for the two-park forgotten space out West ...

We are now thinking of going in the Summer(hot, hot) and maybe at the end of the year(13) and get max value out of the passes.

We have reg DVC AP's that expire 4-1-13. Can we "renew" them to the PAP deal on or b4 that day? And is there a slight discount to renew? We have a feb trip planned regardless, but may scale it back a bit if we are sitting on PAP for all next year.
