Disney without the child...
My husband is taking our daughter to Disney for her 18th birthday. I am staying home with the 7 year old. How do we tell the child he's not going? I need nifty creative ideas, please!!

Daddy is taking your sister to WDW as a HS graduation present. When you graduate HS, we will do something special for you. Period.

Although, I would plan a couple special activities at home for your DS. It doesn't have to be anything big. A special dinner out at his favorite restaurant. Maybe a trip to the zoo or a kids' museum nearby. |

Be honest but make the time with him special, too. There's no way to sugar coat this one. Good luck

No the same but when I was in Middle School my DM and Step dad went to Disney without me, but made it clear before I graduated HS they would take me to Disney and we would have a family trip. |
