Anyone Order From somethingstore.ca?

A work colleague told me this morning that his family decided to do something fun and inexpensive for Christmas this year... they all put in $30 and ordered 18 "somethings" from the somethingstore.ca

They plan to do it like a "dirty Santa" where they will have the opportunity to open a new gift or "steal" another family members already opened gift. It sounds like a lot of fun, and I though about ordering a few items for us to have a little fun with on Christmas morning.

Curious whether anyone has ordered from them before, and if so, what kind of items you received?

I guess not!

I still like the spirit of the game, so I think I will suggest that we all spend $30-$50 on 3 funny/quirky/useful gifts and do it just for fun, after the "real" gift giving. I am sure we can find lots of cool stuff at the drug store, Walmart, Target, etc for $10-$20 each.

I've never heard of that store before. What do they sell?

Just a heads up, I looked them up on Facebook and it seems like the majority of the posts over the past few months are customers complaining that they have not received their shipments and are not able to get in touch with the company. It looks like they are having some major customer service issues and a lot of posters have been receiving the same items, sometimes multiple times (it looks like paper wallets, scarves and purses are common "somethings").
