LOL @ Robo's pic.

Seriously, I don't know what to make of this.

It looks cool, we'll see how they implement, etc, etc.

What REALLY floors me is this: We've heard ZIPPO about this from other places. No matter what this eventually turns out to be, the more shocking part is that Disney managed to keep it a "secret" until now...

Agree. I'm less impressed with whatever the dude is hinting at as I am that it's supposedly been kept under wraps so well. Still, I'm not sure how a dragon fits into Belle's or Ariel's stories, which is of course what the new area is currently all about.

Ummm...he's part of the circus?

He's a resident of the forest?

He's visiting Cinderella?

Aurora is visiting Cinderella?

No idea....

The only thing I could think of was Malificent in dragon form. But the area has nothing to do with Aurora, really. But how cool would it to see a dragon fly overhead? lol

I agree it would be cool to see a dragon flying overhead but there really isn't anything yet to tie it into the area. It would be cool if they had a little cave area that would be home to the dragon, kinda like the protector of the New Fantasyland Forest. That s really the only way I could think of to make it make sense.

Not sure how it'll tie into Fantasyland, but I'm very excited to find out! I'm sure they've got something up their sleeve.

But it DOES make sense to tie in yet another princess, now that we have Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, Snow White...to somehow link in Sleeping Beauty regardless on which castle(s) the dragons may be protecting. I agree a cave of some sort would be cool to have a "location". Disney suspense...gotta love it when they can pull it off!

How about having the dragon fly out from ( or to and around) the castle during a fireworks presentation ala Tinkerbell during Wishes. Weren't there rumors that Wishes was going to be replaced with a new show?

At Disneyland, Dumbo does fly around the castle at a point during the fireworks.

But, at WDW, the castle is so much taller, I'm not sure that they could build the same kind of flying apparatus and system that they use around the much smaller Disneyland castle.

(Also, with so many great traditional Disney characters from which to choose, I'm not sure that a dragon would be the best choice to use in the principle fireworks show at MK.)
