Question about BOG and rain
Refresh my memory. We ate at BOG a few weeks ago on a beautiful night. No rain in sight. A few day later I was thinking about it and don't remember any covered areas near the restaurant where people could get out of the rain if it was raining (or monsooning like it does in the summer). Looking at photos I see nothing. What happens to people waiting for tables if it's raining?
I think this would only concern dinner reservations. Maybe they will just move everybody inside to the area where the armored knights are?

I think that there are other restaurants in the World that don't have covered areas for waiting. I was thinking that Akershus doesn't, or am I wrong? Any others?

At Akershus, I think I'd wait in the gift shop across the way. I wonder if Gaston's Tavern is close enough to wait in.

I'm not waiting outside if there is lightning. Also, I always seem to get wet even when I have a poncho or umbrella.
As for the pager, I remember hearing the receptionist say it wouldn't reach the old Fantasyland, so I can't imagine it will reach Gaston's. Besides, Gaston's is really pretty small.

From what I've heard and seen from being there, you're just stuck outside. If they're not too busy, maybe people could wait where the knights are, but otherwise, everyone might just be stuck in the rain.

Always smart to bring a poncho or two along if it looks like rain. Most WDW restaurants either have no shelter or a very small amount of shelter from the rain.

I waited outside in the rain for a short time at Hacienda in Epcot. There was a very small waiting area, but it was full. I wouldn't be surprised if you had to wait outside.
