Speaking of APs, when Linda mentioned how cheap the APs were over at Universal, it started a loooooong conversation with the hubs. He said that we should check out Universal but for now, Miss M just loves everything Disney and it might not be that way forever ... so the Disney AP just seems like a better idea at the moment.

Now if we can just avoid sequestration. I don't feel we can go ahead with the purchase while this is looming overhead. Now I'm just holding my breath between the upcoming Disney ticket price hike and the rest of this mess.

I used some oil and chia seeds in our smoothies this morning. I am FULL! It's been over 2 hours and I am still very satisfied from breakfast so I will be skipping my snack. I usually have a hard boiled egg or a handful of almonds but I think I'm going to take a nap instead!
Thank you, I still need to check it out! Oh I love my chia seeds too!!!! I throw them in yogurt!

Dani - Happy Birthday!!!!

pas - Fabulous news! I was the same way when I started reading up on this year's F&G. Had.to.go! Too bad it now ultimately means I have to shorten the August trip, but whatevs.

Grumpy Grandma - Diva trip! Save some spiked dole whips for the rest of us heading down in the spring!

Miss - I actually tqalked with DH about doing Universal APs when our Disney AP expire but we came to the same conclusion. I think we will save Universal for when the boys are over Disney. I hope it's not soon, but you never know.

babyberger - Heading to check out y our blog right after I get done here.

----------

So as I mentioned to pas, I had to scale down the August trip. We just can't afford 10 nights then on top of the April trip. Plus I know I will still want to try to sneak in a quickie in Dec/Jan before the AP's expire.

We are now booked for 6 nights Poly CL in August and 5 nights YC CL in April. No splitting on either trip feels weird. I'm not sure if I can handle that.

Have a great Monday all!

Can't seem to get caught up, work just getting in the way...

Love all the talk about Pinterest! Actually until you all started talking about it I had no clue what it meant it sounds like a lot of fun... now if I can only fit this into my day too!

Melissa, your lobster/tenderloin dinner looked delish. Loved the pix/quote from DH that you posted!!

Wookie, you ADR choices and plans fit nicely! We love Ohana, and putting BOG on your Halloween night makes perfect sense. Be sure to call right at your 6 month mark...BOG is so ever popular. Did you book the fantasmic package at MM?

Jen, Linda and I stayed at POR in January and it is a lovely resort. Think you all will enjoy the resort and the savings... happy DD is better.

GG, only a few days til Diva Day!! Can't wait to see your Tiara pix!

Iheart, having a few trips planned does take the sting out of shorter trips... you will have SO much fun at both (and hopefully a third trip!)

Lacey, nice to "see: you back here! your split seems very doable with just the two of you!

Lacey, MM, Wookie, Melissa, We tend to not be rope drop either... usually arriving around half hour or 1 hour later... this is in August too.. it works for us.

MM, love the shirts Hope you DDs are feeling better.

Miss, went to the Y Friday and Sunday and we return tonight for our first pilates class.. hopefully we aren't the only newbies there...do wonder why much I will hurt tomorrow... will it feel like a ron weasley torture sesstion? If so, happy hour may start early this week.

Well....It's a tough thing, but someone's has to make sure you stay out of trouble.... but I have a feeling that Brian will be able to go.

Having to all I've missed!!

I'm really fuming about how sequestration has been handled. It was due to take effect 2 JAN and then was delayed and is due to take effect Friday and federal agencies are still acting as if they have no idea what will happen. They've known about this law for many months. DH's agency has been only notified that IF they are personally contacted in coming weeks (which may not happen as he might be deemed 'mission essential'), then they will be advised of the details of the one day a week, 22 week furlough of most federal (non-active duty) employees.

I have to admit that I feel a little silly coming home from an extra additional overcharge WDW spring break trip with possible sequestration beginning the next day for DH. I even mentioned the C-word yesterday - cancelation, because I felt so guilty about going on this trip. This threw DH for a loop. I even thought it would be more prudent to maybe vacation in-state instead and save thousands. Why am I being so pragmatic?

Any other possible sequestration victims out there?
